Arky 100 Posted Wednesday, October 17, 2007 by Jim Britt
Thanks to all of the workers and the 220 riders from around the state. A special thanks to Chainwheel for sponsoring the porta-potties that allowed the Boy Scouts to campout and be a big help at the rest stops. We'll try not to hide the one at rest stop #1 next year! Our other sponsors are also greatly appreciated: City of Sheridan, Outskirts Bike Shop for Herman's repair support, and Arkansas Cycling and Fitness for the water bottles. The Radio Club was a big help again and was essential in getting a SAG vehicle notified way out on the long course after a rider went down in a pot hole. It turned out he broke a collarbone. We were pleased to have Joe Weber's sons on the ride this year.
